The Yamaha Stagepas 300 is an all-in-one easy-to-use, ultra compact portable PA system that incorporates two 2-way loudspeakers, a 6/8-channel (4 mono, 2 stereo) mixer, reverb, and dual 150W amplifiers to provide a reliable sound system that one person can easily handle. With a rated maximum output level of 112dB SPL at one metre, it provides enough output to fill any medium sized venue or rehearsal studio. Each Yamaha Stagepas speaker contains a bass reflex loaded 8" woofer and a horn loaded 1" compression driver, driven by 2 efficient 150W Class D switching amplifiers. The mixer features balanced XLR connectors, mic/line switches and balanced 1/4" jacks, 2-band channel EQ, and Switchable 24-bit digital reverb. The preamps provide a fixed gain for mic-level input signals and a 30dB pad for line or instrument level signals. The stereo input channels work with either line or instrument level signals. The stereo input channels have RCA phono connectors, while the 5-6 stereo channel also has 1/4" TRS sockets. Though Yamaha recommends the use of a DI Box or amp/speaker simulator for direct instrument connects, you can plug an electric guitar directly into the Stagepas. RCA connectors with separate level control for a tape recorder or a CD player are conveniently located on the front panel, plus stereo-out and monitor connections. A built-in limiter means there is little risk of damaging the speakers at high levels. For added convenience, both high-impact molded speaker enclosures have rear compartments that house the mixer in one speaker during transport, and cables, mics, and accessories in the other during transport. The mixer can even be operated from the storage compartment in the back of one of the speaker cabinets. Being Class D, the amplifier is very efficient, generating little heat.

The Stagepas cabinets can be tripod mounted, positioned upright, on their sides or tilted back on the sides to act as floor monitors. The speakers do not have the hole for the speaker stand to go into. To pole mount these speakers, you will need to order the Top Hat mounts separately. The mixer can also be stand mounted with the optional mic stand adaptor. (Stands & Accesories Shown are Optional Extras)
