The DDJ-800 2-channel DJ controller is a pro DJ setup that's made to go wherever you do. Another fantastic addition to Pioneer DJ's DDJ range, the 800 is a more portable unit that inherits the club-style layout and popular features of the DDJ-1000, including Color On Jog Displays, and packs it all into a lighter body. The result is a professional performance controller that you'll have no trouble transporting between gigs at weddings, parties and anywhere else you play.
Feedback from mics? No worries thanks to the compatible Feedback Reducer feature in rekordbox dj. The system will automatically bring down the ‘howling' sound from the mic - extra handy when you have 2 microphones plugged in at once. Use the DDJ-800 to mix audio from external sources, and apply Sound Color FX, Beat FX, EQs and Trim to make all of your shows unique.
Colour On Jog Display
The DDJ-800 is the first 2-channel controller to feature high-definition LCD screens showing information such as playback time, BPM, and waveforms in the centre of the jogwheel, for quick reference and accurate performances. Cue Scope indicates the distance in bars from the current playback position to Hot Cue points and Loop points, enabling you to mix quickly and more accurately. You can have full artwork on the displays, helping you instantly identify the track loaded on a deck by simply looking at the jog wheel.
Feedback reducer
The DDJ-800 integrates the new Feedback Reducer feature in rekordbox dj, which instantly detects and reduces the “howling” frequency of microphone feedback. The controller also includes two independent mic inputs giving you greater flexibility for DJs, MCs, and guest speakers.
Club-style layout and features
The DDJ-800 takes from the club-standard CDJ-2000NXS2 and DJM-900NXS2 setup with all the buttons, knobs, and faders arranged and used in the same way as Pioneer DJ's flagship setup. "Feeling Adjust" can be used to set the resistance on the jog wheels to your preferred weight for scratching. Flip the track with the popular Sound Color FX and Beat FX*3 from the DJM mixer series. The dedicated beat FX display means you can instantly reference BPM and the name of the selected FX without looking at your PC/Mac making it so easy to add FX in the moment.
Audio mixer feature
The DDJ-800 can be used as a mixer to control the volume of audio input from an external device. The external input can be adjusted by using the trims, channel faders and EQs, and when the controller is connected to rekordbox dj, you can use also Sound Color FX and Beat FX.
Performance features
The 2-channel DJ controller features 16 tactile illuminated rubber pads to trigger Hot Cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump, Sampler, Keyboard mode, and more. "Advanced Super Fast Search" allows you to quickly reach any playback position and "Page" lets you switch between Hot Cues A-H and I-P there are dedicated buttons for Key Shift and Key Sync so you can take direct control of rekordbox dj key related features.
Plug and play - rekordbox DJ
The DDJ-800 includes a USB dongle so users don’t need a licence key to activate rekordbox dj. Once connected to rekordbox dj, performance mode will activate automatically. To use rekordbox dj on your computer without connecting the DDJ-800, activate the rekordbox dj license (license key card included in the box).
