The RCF EVOX J9 is a high-performance, active three-way portable column PA system designed to deliver professional-grade sound in a sleek, highly transportable format. At the heart of the system is a 1.75-inch compression driver coupled with a 120° × 40° True Resistive Waveguide. This configuration ensures consistent, wide horizontal dispersion and controlled vertical coverage, allowing sound to be distributed evenly across the audience without harsh peaks or drop-offs. The result is clear, intelligible high-frequency reproduction that reaches every corner of the room.
The column array incorporates six 3-inch full-range transducers, carefully tuned to deliver a rich and articulate midrange. This design enhances vocal clarity and ensures instruments cut through the mix with natural definition, making it especially effective for live music and speech applications.
For low-end performance, the EVOX J9 features a powerful 12-inch woofer housed in a bass-reflex enclosure. This setup produces deep, punchy bass with excellent control, avoiding muddiness while maintaining a solid foundation for music playback and live sound reinforcement.
Driving the entire system is a robust 2100-watt dual-channel Class-D amplifier, capable of delivering up to 130 dB maximum SPL. Despite its impressive output, the system remains efficient and lightweight, ensuring it can handle demanding performance environments without sacrificing portability.
